Morning Nutrient Timing

Aim to have breakfast within an hour or two of waking up and for most, in the window of 6:00am-9:45am. The first thing you should have is a glass of water. By not eating or drinking through the night your body is going to start off slightly dehydrated and in a fasted state. By drinking water, you will restore hydration as well as get bodily function started. By not having water, your body is going to be prolonged in its fasted state leaving to feelings of being sluggish and throw off your whole daily eating patterns.
